Seeing so much of this animation up close in HD just oooou so nice very nice. But the ways his eyes moves or quirks of his lips gets you into the kid's head. I want to highlight Jim's facial features because he's one of the least expressive characters who doesn't talk more than he has to. To be honest I find that one alien that talks in fart sounds to be way more annoying but he's not in the film long and I'm 90% sure he's there to appeal to little kid humorĪrt/Animation: Animation already really good. Maybe he's too cooky? Sure it's a bit odd to introduce a wacky character like him so late in the story but his purpose to the actual Treasure Planet makes sense to me. I know people don't like BEN but I don't hate him.

Wish we got a little bit more of Captain Amelia because she's so cool and a cat which may lead into a personal bias.

Yeah he's a punk teenager but he's feeling a lot and doesn't know how to vent those feelings well, but he's so smart! Love how crafty he is with solar flying tech and how he grows into his own by the end of the movie.

Okay but for real Morph is one of my favorite sidekick characters and the majority of the chuckles or laughs that get me in this movie are because of that shapeshifting goo ball. Roman figured they could stay here for the next twenty four hours and be perfectly fine.Ĭharacters: Morph is best boy. There was a basket at the foot of the bed, filled with snacks and bottled drinks. The canopy had been removed which bothered him a little but only until he realized the projector that had been set up, pointing at the ceiling.

It was mostly illuminated by fairy lights, providing a cozier feel than what he was used to the floor to ceiling windows looked out into a rainy forest instead of the usual rolling hills his bed had been turned into a truly impressive collection of blankets, pillows, cushions, and stuffed animals. When he’d arrived back to his room, it looked almost unrecognizable.

He’d spent an hour playing cards with Logan and Patton before Virgil shouted for him from upstairs. Were it not for how close they’d grown, Roman would have been upset and suspicious he trusted Virgil now, though, and knew that nothing would go wrong. Have fun, kids! 1.Earlier in the day, Virgil had rather unceremoniously kicked Roman out of his own room, claiming he had something important to do. Most are available to play on the internet now, so in those cases, I’ve also included links to where you can find them - frequently either an app store or the Internet Archive’s glorious collection of browser-based, emulated DOS games. So, in the spirit of nostalgia, here are 15 ’90s-era computer games that made learning incredibly fun. Though the graphics on the computer games from the ’90s may be laughable now, just remember - once upon a time, they were considered the pinnacle of technological achievement.

Some were part of long-running series, while still more of them received a number of remakes and reboots as technology improved. (Yes, I say that as a fully grown adult.)Ī lot of the educational computer games from the ’90s were originally developed and released long before the decade began, which could be why many '80s babies hold a certain degree of fondness for them many actually dated back to the decade in which we were born. And you know what? These games are still fun. That’s probably why there were so dang many fantastic '90s educational computer games - the rise of home computing (and, by extension, the rise of computing in the classroom) during the 1990s opened up a new world of possibilities, including tons of ways to make learning a blast for up-and-coming generations. Why do you ask?) But when it’s a literal game? Then it’s even better, especially when you’re a kid. Real talk: I think learning is always fun.
